About Us.

It began with a History project. I was assigned a research assignment to interview a family member about their past. I decided to interview my Grandfather. He told me stories of his childhood during World War II, his adventures as a young man traveling to different countries, the challenges he faced as a young PhD student far from home, the kindness of strangers and the beginning of everlasting friendships . These were recollections I had never heard before, rich with detail and emotion, and I found myself captivated by his storytelling.

As I listened, it struck me how important these stories were. My grandfather’s life, full of experiences, wisdom from a historical past, was recorded only in his memory. I thought about the countless elderly individuals that carried with them rich stories of the past that risked being lost forever. It was then that I decided to do something about it.

Since then, we have worked with elderly members of the community, encapsulating their stories told in their own voice forever.

Evervoice Memoirs was created to be an ongoing project. It relies on skilled senior year school students who wish to volunteer and give back to the community.
